study links grapes to preventing sun damaged skin

I've written many times before about all of the amazing beauty benefits of grapes and grapeseeds. Recently, I've been reasearching more claims about the antioxidant rich fruit, including that it is a beneficial ingredient sun care and after sun products. The naturally occurring antioxidants in grapes may aid in preventing long term sun damage.

CosmeticDesign.com reported today on a study published in The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry on this very subject... check out what the team of scientists in Spain found out about the flavanoids in grapes and how the reduce damage in long term UVA and UVB exposed skin here.
