A Peek Inside Production: Prepping for the 2013 Oscars

This past week in production, our team has been working on making the 4 grapeseed products in the new California Dreamin' Night Time Vinotherapy Kit in preparation for the 2013 Academy Awards! We chose this new gift kit for the star-studded event because it combines the best of anti~aging skincare from the vine, made fresh in Santa Barbara.

The Grapeseed Company will be participating in Celebrity Gifting at the 2013 Oscars GBK Gift Lounge. The California Dreamin' Kit will be on display in the gift lounge with The Artisan Group. Here's a look inside our production kitchen at The Grapeseed Company Warehouse, with a behind the scenes look at what goes into putting together the gifts.

Pinot Dreams Whipped Body Butter with grapeseed, shea + acai

labeling is completed and these dreamy, nourishing, moisture rich butters are ready to be packed up and put in to the assembly line.

Cali Vine Decadently Rich Face Cream  
with avocado, grapeseed, carrot + blue-green algae

We started prepping for this during the holiday season! The recycled content boxes were packed with this amazingly rich anti~aging face cream before Christmas. Local Cali-grown ingredients have made this a cult-favorite at our Santa Barbara and Carpinteria stores, so we did a big production run for the gifting season!

Soy & Grapeseed Travel Tin Candle  
in Surf, the deliciously fresh scent of the beach

& Sweet Lips vanilla mint lip balm with grapeseed, coconut + sunflower

The hand-poured soy candle tins are added to the base of the pouch with the box of Cali Vine Cream to help it stand up pretty for the display!

and the last stage of the assembly line... 

stuff the natural fiber pouches with all 4 products and a sweet note with hand stamped envelopes (below), pack them up pretty and send them down to LA next week for the Oscars on Sunday, February 24, 2013!
