fresh from your kitchen: grapes of bath champagne soak

Grapes of Bath Champagne Soak
1c champagne
1T honey or honey powder
1c powdered milk
1/2c epsom salts
fresh rose petals from 1or 2 roses

directions:
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, add champagne and honey, stir. Pour into running bath water. When the tub is full add rose petals, hop in, soak & relax!

note: honey powder is available at most health food stores and will dissolve in warm water. If you cannot find honey powder, warm the raw honey in the microwave for 30 seconds before adding to the mixture.

benefits:
Champagne helps to detoxify the skin. The carbon dioxide (or bubbles) in sparking wine aids in tightening and constricting pores. Epsom salts aid in detoxifying, cleansing and relaxing sore, tight muscles. Honey, milk and rose soothe, moisturize and tone the skin while you soak and unwind.

  4. Yum and delish. Just add chocolate and a little romance, I say. What fun! As I was reading the recipe, I was hearing a faint fizzing sound in the back of my head. This is the perfect little recipe to put inside a New Year's greeting card for a friend who needs a little R&R. I'll remember that come the holidays! Thanks for sharing.
