Blue Chamomile Essential Oil is steam distilled from the head of the annual German chamomile plant.

In ancient Egypt, blue chamomile was renowned by the sun god, Ra, to restore wholeness to the body by helping center, calm and heal the entire being.

Blue chamomile is rich in azulene, a naturally occurring active organic compound which is deep blue in color. Azulene is known for its anti-inflammatory, acne and skin healing properties. Blue chamomile is often used in botanical medicine to help treat the following skin conditions: allergies, acne, dermatitis, inflamed skin, damaged skin, insect bites & sores.
