LaLa Land Bath Salts
1 T epsom salt
4T dead sea salt (or sea salt)
valerian root
(2 droppers full alcohol tincture or 1 T dried herb)
1 bag chamomile tea
(or 2 T dried chamomile flowers)
10 drops lavender essential oil
directions
~if you are using using dried valerian root or full chamomile flowers, crush dried botanicals with a mortar and pestle or put all ingredients in a ziploc and crush with the flat side of a meat tenderizing mallet.
~add the salts to your crushed herbs and mix in remaining ingredients
~draw a warm bath and add your mixture to the running water
~hop in and soak your your way to relaxation
~after your soak, massage fresh cut herbs bath & massage oil into damp skin
what it does
Valerian Root: the botanical is known for relieving anxiety, nervousness, tension and sleep issues. the tincture and dried herb should be easily available at your local health store, the tincture is available in many drug stores as well.
Lavender and Chamomile are used in herbal medicine for the relaxing, calming, de-stressing & sedative properties. Chamomile is also known for anti-spasmodic effects.
Salts detoxify the body and remove impurities from the skin.
